What is a SUSI grant?
A SUSI grant is a financial support provided by the Irish government to help students cover the cost of higher education. It is means tested, meaning eligibility is based on household income and other factors.
Successful applicants of the grant can have one or both of the following covered:
SUSI grant applications will open for new applicants on Thursday 3rd April at 12 noon.The applications are made online through the SUSI website (www.susi.ie) The SUSI website has a brilliant tool call the ‘Eligibility Indicator’ which you can try here This will help you figure out if you might be eligible for the grant or not.
I would recommend an early application, even if you are unsure of your college choice.
