About the course

A compressed, more demanding version of the International Business degree, completed in three years and taught entirely in English. It is a practical, career-focused degree at a university of applied sciences.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • The institution assesses the Irish Leaving Certificate individually and does not publish a fixed Irish requirement. Contact admissions to confirm.
  • You need a school-leaving result equivalent to the Dutch VWO (pre-university) diploma, a higher bar than the standard 4-year programme. For A levels, AUAS asks for Mathematics and English among the subjects, so expect Maths to matter.
  • English at B2 level: for example IELTS Academic 6.0 (no section below 5.5) or equivalent.

How to apply

  1. Check requirementsConfirm with AUAS that your expected Leaving Cert is accepted as VWO-equivalent.
  2. Apply on StudielinkApplications open 1 October 2026; deadline 1 May 2027.
  3. Upload documentsFollow the AUAS emails (check spam) and submit your results for diploma assessment.
  4. Decision and feesOnce admitted, pay tuition so that AUAS receives it by the day before the programme starts in September 2027.
Deadline for Irish/EU applicants: Apply through Studielink between 1 October 2026 and 1 May 2027 for September 2027 entry..

Costs

  • Standard Dutch EU fee: €2,694 (2026/27). The 2027/28 fee is set by the Dutch government each year (expected to be close to €2,800). AUAS estimates about €550 a year extra for books, materials and other expenses.
  • EU students may be eligible for a Dutch tuition-fee loan (DUO).
Open-entry course: if you meet the requirements, you get a place. You need VWO-level results, so check with admissions how your Leaving Cert is assessed.
