About the course

A four-year, 240 EC circus degree built around training in your circus speciality, physical preparation, and creation and performance projects. It is a practical, career-focused degree that trains you as a professional circus artist.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • Entry is by audition in circus arts, with a video submission to Codarts’ criteria. Your audition result is the main factor in admission.
  • All classes are taught in English. Check with Codarts which English language proof (if any) it asks for.

Costs

You must also buy your own equipment for your circus speciality (for example aerial hoop, dance trapeze, Cyr wheel or juggling gear). Codarts does not publish a cost.
  • EU students may be eligible for a Dutch tuition-fee loan (DUO).
Admission is by audition, so places depend on your audition result. First-year students receive a Binding Study Advice.
