About the course

An English-taught business degree combining management, decision-making (including organisational psychology) and data analytics, with compulsory methods modules in applied calculus, applied statistics with R and econometrics. Year 2 covers digital transformation and applied machine learning; Year 3 includes a mandatory two-month internship, study-abroad options and a bachelor thesis.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • Constructor reviews applications holistically (school grades from the last 2-3 years, CV, motivation statement) and publishes nothing specific on the Irish Leaving Certificate. To enrol you also need a German university entrance qualification: under German rules the Leaving Certificate gives direct entry to business/economics with six subjects, at least two at Higher Level H5 or better, the rest at O6/H6 or better, including two languages, and Higher Level Maths at H5 or better. Confirm with Constructor admissions.
  • Maths: take Higher Level Maths, as it is needed for German entry to business and the course includes calculus, statistics and econometrics. SAT/ACT is optional for admission, but if your Leaving Cert does not give direct German entry, Constructor may require standardised test scores before enrolment.
  • English: you are exempt from a test if you are a native English speaker or have been taught exclusively in English for at least six years, which covers most Irish students (Irish-medium students should check with admissions). Otherwise IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 90, Duolingo 110 or PTE Academic 58.

Costs

  • Private university. Tuition for students starting in 2027 is €11,925 per semester (€23,850 a year), up from €10,000 per semester (€20,000 a year) for earlier intakes. From the 2027 intake there is a one-off enrolment fee of €640 for EU students, and a non-refundable €1,000 enrolment deposit that is credited against later invoices. There is no application fee. Every admitted student is automatically considered for academic achievement scholarships of up to €7,000. First-year room and board (nine months, including a meal plan) is extra, at a subsidised €8,000 according to the university.
Higher Level Maths at H5 or better is needed for German entry to business courses, so do not drop to Ordinary Level. This is a private university charging €23,850 a year for 2027 entrants before scholarships.
