About the course

A seven-semester (210 ECTS) degree taught entirely in English, starting with maths, computer science and business foundations and moving on to building AI systems using data engineering, machine learning and software engineering. The fifth semester is spent abroad at a partner university.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • Frankfurt School asks for a recognised school-leaving certificate and publishes nothing specific on the Irish Leaving Certificate. Under German recognition rules the Leaving Cert gives direct entry only with six subjects including two languages and Maths, at least two at Higher Level at H5 or better, the rest at O6/H6 or better; for maths, science and technical courses you also need Higher Level Maths at H5 plus a Higher Level science at H5. Confirm with admissions which rule applies.
  • All applicants sit the online Assessment Centre: a maths test, a cognitive test, an English test and a structured interview.
  • No English certificate is needed, because English is tested in the Assessment Centre.

How to apply

  1. Check your subjectsTake Higher Level Maths and a Higher Level science and aim for H5 or better in both to meet German entry rules.
  2. Apply onlineSubmit the online application with your last two school reports, CV and passport copy and pay the €100 application fee before 30 June 2027.
  3. Online Assessment CentreSit the maths, cognitive and English tests and a structured interview online.
  4. Accept and enrolPay the €600 enrolment fee, send final Leaving Cert results and start on 1 September 2027.
Deadline for Irish/EU applicants: Application deadline 30 June 2027 for a 1 September 2027 start. Admission is rolling and later applications are considered only if places remain, so apply early..

Costs

  • Tuition is €8,600 per semester (€17,200 a year), plus a €100 application fee and a €600 enrolment fee, as listed on the programme page for the September 2027 intake. The same fee applies to EU and non-EU students.
This is a newer programme at a private university costing €17,200 a year in tuition, and a strong Higher Level Maths grade matters both for German recognition and for the maths test in the Assessment Centre.
