B.Sc. Psychology (Specialisation: Health Psychology)

About the course

A six-semester (180 ECTS) Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a specialisation in health psychology, taught in English on campus in Berlin or Munich. Alongside core psychology it includes Health Psychology 1, Health Psychology 2 (Health in the Context of Work) and Health Psychology 3 (Stress Management and Relaxation Techniques).

Entry requirements for Irish students

• Macromedia asks for a certified school-leaving certificate that qualifies you for university entry, verified as equivalent where necessary. Under German (KMK/anabin) rules the Leaving Cert gives direct entry only if you have six subjects, including at least two at Higher Level with H5 or better and the rest at O6/H6 or better. The six must include two languages and Maths at O5/H6 or better. Some subject areas ask for more, so ask admissions which rule applies to psychology.
• There is no numerus clausus, and the admission page lists no entrance test or interview. You apply online with a CV, a motivation letter, a copy of your passport or ID, your school certificate and proof of English.
• English: the admission page asks for proof of English, such as TOEFL iBT 72, IELTS 6.0 or the Burlington VTest. It does not mention any exemption, so ask admissions whether they will accept Leaving Cert English.

4. Accept and start in October 2027Sign the study contract, pay the €699 registration fee, find housing in Berlin or Munich and confirm the 2027 deadline.

Costs

• Private university. The official programme page and the winter 2026 international price list give €6,000 per semester (€12,000 a year, €36,000 in tuition over six semesters) plus a one-off registration fee of €699. EU and non-EU students pay the same. The programme page mentions flexible payment plans, scholarships, KfW student loans and education funds. The price list says prices can change without notice, so confirm the fee for 2027 entry.
