About the course

A seven-semester degree (210 ECTS) taught in English, on managing businesses in music, media, the arts and other creative sectors. It covers marketing, digital production, finance, project management and leadership, and ends with a final thesis.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • SRH does not publish anything specific about the Irish Leaving Certificate. It asks for a general higher education entrance qualification. Under German rules the Leaving Cert gives direct entry with six subjects: at least two at Higher Level H5 or better, the other four at O6/H6 or better, including two languages and Maths at O5/H6 or better. If this course counts as business/economics, you also need Higher Level Maths at H5. Confirm with SRH admissions.
  • You need a motivation letter. There is an admissions interview, which can be held online, on programme knowledge, creativity and motivation.
  • English: proof of English is required, but the page gives no minimum scores. If you do not meet the criteria you can sit SRH’s own English Proficiency Certificate test. Ask SRH whether a Medium of Instruction letter from an Irish school is accepted.

How to apply

  1. Check your subjectsMake sure your Leaving Cert meets the German six-subject rule. Higher Level Maths at H5 is safest in case the business rule applies.
  2. Apply onlineApply on the SRH portal with a CV, motivation letter, passport copy, results and proof of English. Applications are accepted all year.
  3. Interview and contractComplete the admissions interview (it can be online), then sign the study contract.
  4. Pay and enrolPay the €750 registration fee to secure your place and receive your admission letter. Monthly tuition starts when your course begins in October or April.
Deadline for Irish/EU applicants: There is no fixed deadline. SRH says you can apply at any time through its online portal. The course starts in both the winter semester (October) and the summer semester (April)..

Costs

  • SRH is a private university. EU/EEA students pay €750 a month (€4,500 a semester, €9,000 a year), plus a one-off €750 registration fee. SRH’s fee list gives a total of €29,925, which is the price if you pay the whole programme in advance (5% discount). Paying monthly over 42 months comes to about €31,500. The fee list is valid from 1 January 2026, so confirm the 2027 rates.
This is a private university: about €9,000 a year plus a €750 registration fee. Check that your Leaving Cert Maths is good enough, as German rules may treat this as a business course.
