About the course

An English-taught business administration degree with a specialisation in Automotive Technology and Management, offered at SRH’s Leipzig campus. It builds skills in technology and management for the automotive industry. It is taught in SRH’s CORE model. You can choose a 6-semester Fast Track or a 7-semester International Experience Track, which adds an internship or a semester abroad.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • Germany: the Leaving Certificate gives direct university entry only with the right combination of subjects and levels. You need six subjects, at least two at Higher Level H5 or better and the rest at O6/H6 or better, including two languages and Maths at O5/H6 or better. For business and economics, German rules also require Higher Level Maths at H5. SRH publishes nothing specific to Ireland, so confirm with SRH admissions.
  • You need proof of English. The accepted certificates and levels are not published on the pages checked. Ask admissions whether Leaving Cert English is accepted or whether you can take SRH’s own English test.
  • SRH selects students by reviewing their documents and holding a personal interview.

The official IBA page lists these Leipzig fees: €750 a month on the 3-year Fast Track and €690 a month on the 3.5-year International Experience Track. That is about €8,280 to €9,000 a year, plus a one-off registration fee of €750. These are the current (2026) figures, so check the fees for 2027 entry with SRH.
