About the course

A seven-semester (210 ECTS) business degree taught completely in English. Semesters 1 to 3 cover foundations in business, economics and IT, semesters 4 and 5 allow specialisation, and semesters 6 and 7 combine study or an internship abroad with the thesis.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • German recognition rules (KMK/ZAB) say the Leaving Certificate gives direct university entry only with the right subject mix: six subjects, at least two at Higher Level H5 or better, the other four at O6/H6 or better, including two languages and Maths at O5/H6 or better. LCA and LCVP are not accepted. TH Wildau publishes nothing Ireland-specific, so confirm with admissions or uni-assist.
  • For business and economics courses German rules also require Higher Level Maths at H5 or better; Ordinary Level Maths will not qualify you. The programme has unrestricted admission, with no entrance test or interview mentioned.
  • English at CEFR B2.2 must be proven, with a recognised certificate or proof that your school-leaving qualification was obtained through English-medium teaching. Irish applicants may be able to use the second route, but the page does not say so explicitly, so check with TH Wildau before booking a test.

How to apply

  1. Check your Leaving Cert subjectsMake sure your six subjects meet the German rules, including Higher Level Maths at H5 or better for business.
  2. Confirm the deadlineCheck TH Wildau’s application-deadlines page for the winter 2027 intake; the usual German deadline is 15 July.
  3. Apply via uni-assistUpload your Leaving Cert results and proof of English (B2.2) to uni-assist well before the deadline.
  4. Enrol and pay the semester feeAfter admission, enrol with TH Wildau, pay the semester contribution and arrange housing before lectures start in late September.
Deadline for Irish/EU applicants: Winter semester entry only. TH Wildau publishes its deadlines on a separate application-deadlines page, which we could not load for the 2027 intake. The usual German winter-semester deadline is 15 July, but check TH Wildau’s own deadline page. Applicants with foreign school certificates must apply through uni-assist, which advises applying well before the deadline because evaluation takes several weeks..

Costs

  • No tuition fees. TH Wildau charges only a semester administrative contribution each semester; the programme page does not state the amount and we could not verify it (German public universities typically charge roughly 150 to 400 euro per semester). uni-assist also charges its own application processing fee. Confirm current amounts with TH Wildau and uni-assist.
There are no tuition fees, only a semester contribution, but German rules require Higher Level Maths at H5 or better for a business degree. The later semesters include study or an internship abroad.

Checked against the official TH Wildau website: September 2026 (2027 entry). The programme page still showed dates for the 2025 intake (start 22 September 2025), and deadlines and the semester fee could not be verified, so confirm with TH Wildau. Always confirm details with the university before applying.
