About the course

A three-year (six-semester) bachelor’s degree taught in English on campus in Potsdam, near Berlin. It covers digital marketing, social media, analytics and data-driven brand strategy through project-based learning. No prior marketing experience is needed.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • XU publishes nothing specific for Irish applicants. Under German rules (KMK/anabin), the Leaving Cert gives direct entry only with six subjects, at least two at Higher Level at H5 or better, the rest at O6/H6 or better, including two languages and Maths at O5/H6 or better. If the course is treated as business or social science, German rules may also require Higher Level Maths at H5. Confirm with XU admissions.
  • If your Leaving Cert does not meet these rules, ask admissions whether another route, such as a university entrance exam, is available.
  • Expect to show proof of English (usually around B2). XU’s official pages do not list the accepted tests or scores, or whether Leaving Cert English is accepted, so ask admissions.
