About the course

A business and economics degree focused on global shipping and trade: economics and mathematics (50%), trade and logistics (30%), organisation and management (10%) and innovation and entrepreneurship (10%). In second year students spend a semester at a partner university in Singapore, Hong Kong or Greece, and the third year includes a compulsory internship with a shipping company.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • Denmark accepts the Leaving Certificate as an EU school-leaving qualification, but CBS sets specific requirements at Danish levels and does not publish an Ireland-specific mapping on its admission page. Non-convertible foreign exams are assessed only in Quota 2. Do not assume Ordinary Level will count for B level; confirm with CBS admissions.
  • Specific requirements: English B (minimum Danish grade 6.0; language requirement A), Mathematics B, and History, Social Studies or International Economics at B. Quota 2 selection is an overall assessment of your motivational essay, relevant extra-curricular activities and your general grade level in the specific entry requirements.
  • English: CBS lists Ireland among countries where completing upper secondary education taught in English (at least 3 years) meets the English A requirement, so IELTS or TOEFL should not be needed.
