About the course

A three-year English-taught degree on today’s major global challenges. It draws on public policy, international law, sociology, economics, political science and management, and includes statistics.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • General rule (EUR diploma overview, 2026/27): Leaving Certificate (Established) with at least 6 subjects, all general/academic subjects, and a minimum of 400 CAO points. If you did at least two and a half years of secondary school in Ireland, you do not need an English language test.
  • Maths is not required and applicants are not assessed on their maths level or grade. Some secondary-level maths is advised because the course includes statistics.
