About the course

A four-year degree (240 ECTS) taught 100% in English. It combines business communication and marketing with audiovisual and digital media. It is taught face-to-face at Nebrija’s Communication and Arts campus (San Francisco de Sales) in Madrid, and an online distance-learning format is also offered. The degree began in 2026/27.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • Ireland is in the European Higher Education Area, so under Spanish rules you do not sit the Spanish PAU. Most Spanish universities ask EU applicants for a UNEDasiss accreditation, which converts your Leaving Certificate into a Spanish grade out of 10. Nebrija says you must meet the university entrance requirements before the course starts. You must also meet the minimum rules for university entry in Ireland. As a guide, UCD asks for six subjects, with at least H5 in two Higher Level subjects and O6/H7 in the other four, including English and Irish. Confirm with Nebrija admissions how they assess the Leaving Cert.
  • Nebrija, as a private university, uses its own admission process. Every applicant takes an ability (admission) test, and where appropriate there is a personal interview and an English level test. An admissions committee then looks at your test result together with your academic documents. No maths level or portfolio requirement is stated.
  • English: Nebrija asks for an English level test or a B2 certificate where appropriate. Ask admissions whether a native English speaker with Leaving Cert English is exempt.

How to apply

  1. Apply onlineSubmit the application on nebrija.com. Admissions are rolling and there are only 45 places, so apply early in your Leaving Cert year.
  2. Complete the admission assessmentTake Nebrija’s ability test, plus an interview and an English level test (or send a B2 certificate) if they ask for them.
  3. Reserve your placeIf you are admitted, Nebrija’s admission page says to reserve your place within 5 days by paying the enrolment deposit.
  4. Get the UNEDasiss accreditationApply to UNEDasiss (applications usually open February to November, about €36) once your Leaving Cert results are out in August, and send it to Nebrija to complete enrolment.
Deadline for Irish/EU applicants: Nebrija runs its own rolling admissions rather than a national deadline, and the programme and admission pages give no fixed deadline. There are 45 places, so apply early in your Leaving Cert year and confirm the 2027 dates with Nebrija admissions..

Costs

  • Nebrija’s programme page lists ‘Total Tuition 11.920 €’ for this degree. Nebrija’s fees page says first-year tuition for 2026/27 is paid as an enrolment deposit followed by monthly payments. The page does not say outright whether €11,920 is per year, so confirm this with Nebrija admissions, and ask for the 2027/28 figure. Nebrija is a private university, so there is no lower EU rate. Scholarships covering up to 50% of tuition are available to applicants with a school grade of 7.0 or higher (out of 10). A UNEDasiss accreditation costs about €36 extra.
This is a new degree (it started in 2026/27) at a private university. The listed tuition is €11,920, and scholarships covering up to 50% are available. Confirm the 2027/28 fee, and whether it is per year, with Nebrija.
