About the course

A four-year, 240 ECTS business degree taught in English at TecnoCampus in Mataró. It covers business organisation, economics, innovation management, accounting and finance. The year is split into three terms, and classes are in person in the morning (8am to 2pm). Every student does a compulsory 14 ECTS internship with a company and a 14 ECTS final project. In 2025 the cut-off mark for the first allocation was 7.16.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • Ireland is an EU education system, so you do not need to sit the Spanish entrance exam (PAU) as long as you meet the requirements for entering university in Ireland. Your Leaving Cert is converted into an entrance mark of 5 to 10 through UNEDasiss, and places are allocated in order of that mark. You can raise it (towards 14) by sitting up to two UNEDasiss PCE subject tests or PAU specific-phase subjects. In 2025 the cut-off was 7.16 out of 14. TecnoCampus publishes nothing specific on the Leaving Cert, so confirm with its admissions office.
  • No entrance test, interview or portfolio is listed. The programme page lists mathematical aptitude among the recommended strengths but sets no maths grade or level.
  • The programme page does not state an English requirement. Ask TecnoCampus (preinscripcio@tecnocampus.cat) to confirm that Leaving Cert English is accepted.

How to apply

  1. Check Irish entry minimumsMake sure your expected Leaving Cert meets Irish university matriculation rules. For example, UCD asks for six subjects with at least H5 in two, including English and Irish.
  2. Get UNEDasiss accreditationApply to UNEDasiss in spring 2027 for your converted entrance mark. Think about PCE subject tests to raise it, since places go to the highest marks.
  3. Pre-enrol in CataloniaApply through the University Access Portal (accesuniversitat.gencat.cat) and choose code 41036, TecnoCampus Business Administration and Innovation Management (English). Check the 2027 dates on the official calendar.
  4. Enrol and payIf you get a place, enrol by the date given and pay the TecnoCampus fee. Ask TecnoCampus what payment options it offers.
Deadline for Irish/EU applicants: Places are filled through the Catalan university pre-enrolment on the University Access Portal (accesuniversitat.gencat.cat), using pre-registration code 41036. The Catalan government runs a main June round and a smaller February round. The dates for 2027 have not been published yet. Apply for your UNEDasiss accreditation early in 2027 so your score is ready before the June pre-enrolment. Check the official calendar on the Universities Channel (universitats.gencat.cat) and with TecnoCampus..

Costs

  • TecnoCampus is an affiliated centre that sets its own prices, which are higher than Spanish public-university rates. Its official 2026/27 price list charges €111.22 per ECTS credit for first enrolment on the English-taught version, which is about €6,673 for a standard 60-credit year. The Catalan and Spanish-taught version is cheaper at €103.81 per credit. TecnoCampus’s first-year price sheet gives a total of €6,794 for the English version once taxes and fees are included. Prices are set every year, so the 2027/28 figure may be higher. UNEDasiss accreditation costs extra. Check the current price on TecnoCampus’s ‘Prices and financing’ page before applying.
TecnoCampus is an affiliated centre of Pompeu Fabra University. It is on its own campus in Mataró, about 30 km from Barcelona, not on UPF’s Barcelona campus, and it charges private-style fees of about €6,700 a year. There are only 35 places on the English-taught version.
