About the course

A four-year, 240 ECTS business degree taught fully in English on the Murcia campus, covering economics, finance, accounting, marketing, human resources and strategy. It includes a compulsory internship and Spanish language classes, and its ACCA accreditation can help if you want to go on to professional accounting qualifications.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • UCAM is a private university and assesses applications itself. You send your school transcript, diploma and national exam results, so your Leaving Cert results are needed. UCAM does not publish specific Leaving Cert grade rules. Under Spanish law (Royal Decree 534/2024), Irish students do not sit the Spanish entrance exam (PAU), but you must meet Irish university entry rules (as a guide, UCD asks for six subjects, with at least H5 in two and O6/H7 in the other four, including English and Irish). Ask UCAM admissions whether you also need a UNEDasiss accreditation.
  • You also send a statement of purpose (motivation letter) and a CV. The programme page does not mention an admission test or interview, but confirm this with admissions.
  • English: UCAM asks for B2 English. It publishes a list of accepted certificates and says it assesses other certificates case by case. The page does not mention an exemption for native speakers or Leaving Cert English, so ask admissions whether Leaving Cert English will be accepted.

How to apply

  1. Check requirementsRead the programme page and UCAM’s list of accepted English certificates. Email enquiries@ucam.edu to ask whether Leaving Cert English is accepted, whether you need UNEDasiss, and what the 2027/28 fees are.
  2. Prepare documentsGather a scan of your passport photo page, school transcript, Leaving Cert results (or predicted results), a motivation letter and a CV.
  3. Apply onlineApply through the undergraduate admissions portal at international.ucam.edu and pay the application and pre-inscription fees. There are 60 places, so apply early in the 2026/27 school year.
  4. Confirm and enrolAfter an offer, pay the fee to open your academic record and the student insurance. Then send your final Leaving Cert results when they come out in August 2027, before the autumn start.
Deadline for Irish/EU applicants: UCAM runs its own rolling admissions for its English-taught bachelor’s degrees and does not publish a deadline for this one. There are 60 places, so apply early in the 2026/27 school year for autumn 2027 entry. Confirm the 2027 timetable and start date with UCAM admissions (enquiries@ucam.edu)..

Costs

  • Tuition is €7,550 a year (240 ECTS over 4 years). UCAM also lists a pre-inscription fee of €390, an application fee of €150, a fee of €450 to open your academic record and student insurance of €96.12. UCAM says these extra fees are non-refundable. UCAM is a private university, so Irish and Spanish students pay the same fee. The fee page does not say which academic year these rates are for, so confirm the 2027/28 fees with UCAM before paying anything.
UCAM is a private Catholic university. Fees are €7,550 a year plus about €1,086 in non-refundable fees in first year. Before you pay anything, check the 2027/28 fees and whether Leaving Cert English meets UCAM’s B2 requirement.
