Bachelor’s Degree in International Business

About the course

A four-year, 240 ECTS degree in international business on the Valencia campus. It is taught through case studies and company projects, including the BusinessLab with partner companies, and includes placements and internships in the final year. The university advertises ‘classes in English or Spanish’, so make sure you are placed in the English-taught group.

Entry requirements for Irish students

• Universidad Europea is a private university with its own admissions. Because Ireland is an EU education system, you do not sit the Spanish PAU. Instead, you get an accreditation of your Leaving Cert from UNEDasiss (a provisional document is accepted while it is being processed). No minimum Leaving Cert grade is published. As a guide, UCD asks for six subjects, with at least H5 in two and O6/H7 in the other four, including English and Irish. Ask admissions how your grades are assessed.
• You sit the university’s own admission tests: a 30-minute competencies test, plus an interview or cover letter. Because the degree runs in English or Spanish, apply specifically for the English-taught group.
• English: an English test is required only for applicants from non-English-speaking countries, so Irish applicants should be exempt. Confirm this with admissions.

How to apply

1. Apply onlineComplete the online application for September 2027, say you want the English-taught group, and pay the €150 admissions test fee.
2. Sit the admission testsTake the competencies test and do the interview or cover letter, and send your Leaving Cert results or predicted grades.
3. Reserve your placeIf you are admitted, pay the reservation fee within 7 days through the pre-student portal.
4. EnrolSign the enrolment documents digitally and send your UNEDasiss accreditation by 15 November. The course starts on 13 September 2027.

Costs

• Universidad Europea is a private university, so tuition is charged, and it is far higher than at Spanish public universities. The university publishes its Valencia undergraduate fees each year in a PDF on its ‘Financial information’ page. The 2027/28 fees are not published yet. You pay a non-refundable €150 admissions test fee when you apply, and a reservation fee once you are admitted. The university was offering 50% off the reservation fee for the 2027/28 intake until 30 September 2026. Ask admissions for the 2027/28 tuition in writing.
