About the course

A four-year, 240 ECTS degree taught 100% in English at the Valencia (Turia) campus. It covers managing tourism, hospitality and leisure businesses. Three curricular internships (6 ECTS each) are built into fourth year, with partners in the hotel and hospitality sector.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • Ireland is an EU education system, so you do not need to sit the Spanish entrance exam (PAU). Universidad Europea asks students from Ireland and other EU systems to get a UNEDasiss accreditation of their school-leaving qualification, showing the final mark. It publishes no specific Leaving Cert grade requirement. As a guide, you should meet the minimum rules for getting into university in Ireland (for example, UCD asks for six subjects, with at least H5 in two and O6/H7 in the other four, including English and Irish).
  • Admission is run by the university and includes a competencies and skills test, an English test, a personal interview and a review of your academic record. No specific maths requirement is published.
  • English: because the degree is taught 100% in English, all applicants take the university’s English test. No minimum CEFR level is published. Ask admissions whether native speakers are exempt.

Deadline for Irish/EU applicants: Universidad Europea runs its own rolling admissions, and no fixed 2027 deadline for this degree is published. The course has about 100 places, so apply early in the 2026/27 school year. The 2026 intake started on 14 September 2026, so expect a mid-September 2027 start, but confirm the date with the university..

Costs

  • Tuition fee not published: ask the Valencia admissions office for the 2027/28 price before you apply. This is a private university, so fees are set by the university and are much higher than at Spanish public universities. The university charges a non-refundable fee for its admission tests (listed as 150 euro on its international admissions page; confirm the current amount). Once admitted, you pay a reservation fee to hold your place; the amount depends on the degree, so ask how much it is and whether any of it is refundable. You also need a UNEDasiss accreditation, which has its own fee; check the current amount with UNED.
This is a private university, and its tuition fee is not published online, so get the exact 2027/28 price in writing before you pay any reservation fee. The programme page confirms the degree is taught 100% in English.
