About the course

A four-year, 240 ECTS business degree taught in English at UNIE’s Arapiles campus in Madrid. It covers management, accounting, economics, marketing, law, finance and strategy, with electives, an internship and a final thesis. The current page shows an October 2026 start. The 2027 intake is not published yet.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • Under Spanish rules (Royal Decree 534/2024), Leaving Certificate holders do not sit the Spanish PAU but must meet Irish university matriculation requirements. As a guide, UCD asks for six subjects with at least H5 in two and O6/H7 in the other four, including English and Irish. UNIE’s admission regulations accept a UNEDasiss credential for qualifications from EU countries, so expect to need one. Confirm with UNIE admissions.
  • All applicants sit UNIE’s three-part admission test. It assesses skills and attitudes towards intellectual work, tests English and assesses merit.
  • English-taught degrees require B2 English. You can send a document showing B2 level, or take UNIE’s own English test. Ask admissions whether Leaving Cert English counts for native speakers.
