About the course

An English-taught business administration degree focused on business analytics, meaning the use of data to support business decisions. It is studied full time (daytime studies) on Centria’s Kokkola campus and starts in autumn 2027. Duration and credits were not confirmed on the programme page. Centria’s business bachelor’s degrees are typically 3.5 years (210 ECTS).

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • Finland accepts a completed Leaving Certificate that gives entry to higher education in Ireland. No Finnish body sets minimum Leaving Cert grades, subjects or Higher/Ordinary levels, and CAO points are not converted. In Centria’s Joint Application, Leaving Cert holders are normally ranked by the online International UAS Exam rather than by school results. Confirm the 2027 selection method for this programme with Centria.
  • English: you must provide proof of English, either an internationally recognised language test or previous studies (the accepted documents are listed on uasinfo.fi). Ask your school for a letter confirming that you were taught and assessed in English, because the Leaving Cert certificate does not state this, and check with Centria that it will be accepted. Gaelscoil students should expect to need IELTS or TOEFL.

How to apply

  1. Check the programmeRead Centria’s Business Analytics page for the duration, places and selection method for 2027, and the list of accepted English documents on uasinfo.fi.
  2. Apply on Studyinfo.fiSubmit your application in the Joint Application between 7 and 21 January 2027, or in the rolling admission if Centria confirms it applies to you.
  3. Send documents and sit the examFor the International UAS Exam route, upload proof of English and ID by 28 January 2027 at 15:00 Finnish time. Complete pre-identification between 10 and 12 March, then sit the exam online on 23 March 2027.
  4. Accept and send final resultsResults come out by 14 April 2027. If you are offered a conditional place, accept it and send your final Leaving Cert results by the deadline Centria sets.
Deadline for Irish/EU applicants: Business Analytics is included in Centria’s Joint Application 2027, which runs from 7 to 21 January 2027 on Studyinfo.fi for studies starting in autumn 2027. Centria also lists a rolling admission period from 30 October 2026 to 31 May 2027 for this programme. Which selection methods that route uses, and whether the Leaving Cert qualifies, is not confirmed. If you are selected through the International UAS Exam, the deadline for proof of English and ID is 28 January 2027 at 15:00 Finnish time, and the online exam is on 23 March 2027 from 12:00 noon Finnish time..

Costs

  • EU/EEA citizens pay no tuition fees at Finnish universities of applied sciences. Centria’s other English bachelor’s programmes charge non-EU/EEA students €9,500 a year. This programme’s own fee and any application fee could not be confirmed on its page.
Your Leaving Cert grades are unlikely to rank you, because Joint Application entry usually depends on the International UAS Exam. This is a full-time campus programme in Kokkola.
