About the course

An English-taught business administration degree in business management and marketing, delivered as blended learning at the Kokkola campus. From 2027 it replaces Centria’s blended Business Management intake. In the 2026 version, students had online classes three days a week and one compulsory campus day, on Wednesdays. The 2026 version also lasted 3.5 years (210 ECTS), and covered business, management and R&D with profiling in marketing, supply management, analytical business management and international operations. It is not confirmed that the 2027 programme follows the same pattern.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • Finland accepts a completed Leaving Certificate that gives entry to higher education in Ireland. No Finnish body sets minimum Leaving Cert grades, subjects or Higher/Ordinary levels, and CAO points are not converted. In Centria’s Joint Application, Leaving Cert holders are normally ranked by the online International UAS Exam, which filled 100% of Business Management places in 2026, rather than by school results. Confirm the 2027 selection method with Centria.
  • English: you must provide proof of English, either an internationally recognised language test or previous studies (the accepted documents are listed on uasinfo.fi). Ask your school for a letter confirming that you were taught and assessed in English, because the Leaving Cert certificate does not state this, and check with Centria that it will be accepted. Gaelscoil students should expect to need IELTS or TOEFL.

How to apply

  1. Check the programmeRead Centria’s Business Management and Marketing page. Check how many days a week you must be on campus, the duration and the selection method for 2027.
  2. Apply on Studyinfo.fiSubmit your application in the Joint Application between 7 and 21 January 2027, or in the rolling admission if Centria confirms it applies to you.
  3. Send documents and sit the examFor the International UAS Exam route, upload proof of English and ID by 28 January 2027 at 15:00 Finnish time and sit the exam online on 23 March 2027.
  4. Accept and send final resultsIf you are offered a conditional place, accept it and send your final Leaving Cert results by the deadline Centria sets.
Deadline for Irish/EU applicants: Centria’s Joint Application 2027 runs from 7 to 21 January 2027 on Studyinfo.fi, for studies starting in autumn 2027, and this programme is included. Centria also lists a rolling admission period from 30 October 2026 to 31 May 2027. Which selection methods that route uses, and whether the Leaving Cert qualifies, is not confirmed. If you are selected through the International UAS Exam, the deadline for proof of English and ID is 28 January 2027 at 15:00 Finnish time, and the online exam is on 23 March 2027 from 12:00 noon Finnish time..

Costs

  • EU/EEA citizens pay no tuition fees at Finnish universities of applied sciences. On Centria’s 2026 Business Management page the non-EU/EEA fee is €9,500 a year. The fee for this 2027 programme and any application fee could not be confirmed on its own page.
This is a blended programme with most teaching online. Check whether it suits a school leaver who wants full-time campus life. The daytime Business Analytics programme in Kokkola is the full-time campus alternative.
