About the course

A 240 ECTS English-taught engineering degree in automation and robotics. It is a full-time programme starting on 16 August 2027.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • JAMK accepts a qualification that gives eligibility for higher education in the country where it was awarded, so a completed Leaving Certificate that meets Irish entry rules should count. JAMK publishes no minimum Leaving Cert grades, subjects or Higher/Ordinary Level rules (including for Maths), and CAO points are not used. You are selected by online interview instead. Confirm with JAMK admissions.
  • Online interview: you must pass every section of the interview. JAMK’s instructions mention no separate maths test, but ask admissions what level of maths the course expects.
  • English: JAMK says you do not need to prove your English if your school-leaving qualification is from an EU/EEA country, so the Leaving Certificate is enough.
