About the course

A 210 ECTS business degree focused on the esports industry. It covers business operations, digital marketing and event management alongside core business subjects, with modules such as individual coaching, contract law and esports service design. Students get hands-on practice through KAMK.GG, the esports organisation based on campus.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • Finland accepts the Leaving Certificate as a foreign school qualification that gives eligibility for higher education in the country where it was awarded. No Finnish body sets minimum Leaving Cert grades, subjects or Higher/Ordinary levels, and CAO points are not used. KAMK’s certificate-based ranking in the joint application covers only the Finnish matriculation exam, IB, EB and German Abitur, so Irish applicants are ranked on the International UAS Exam or on SAT scores. Confirm with admissions@kamk.fi.
  • Joint application: take the online International UAS Exam (23 March 2027) or submit SAT scores with at least 400 in Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and 400 in Maths, sent to code 7787 by 29 March 2027. Rolling admission (graduates only): certificate-based selection with a minimum 54% grade average plus an interview, or the SAT.
  • All applicants must prove their English, including native speakers. For the UAS Exam route KAMK accepts an internationally recognised test or previous studies in English. Under the UAS rules, EU schooling taught and assessed entirely in English can count if your documents show it. Get a school letter confirming this, because the Leaving Cert certificate does not state it. SAT applicants do not need to show separate English proof.

How to apply

  1. Choose your exam route (autumn 2026)Decide between the International UAS Exam and the SAT. If you choose the SAT, book an autumn or winter sitting so that your scores reach KAMK (code 7787) by 29 March 2027.
  2. Apply on Studyinfo (7-21 Jan 2027)Apply for Esports Business in the joint application before 15:00 Finnish time on 21 January 2027. Upload your ID, your 5th-year/mock transcript with a translation if it is not in English, and your English proof by the date shown.
  3. Sit the UAS Exam (23 Mar 2027)Take the online International UAS Exam at 12:00 Finnish time on 23 March 2027, unless you are applying with SAT scores.
  4. Accept and send final results (by 13 Jul 2027)Results are out by 31 May 2027. Accept your place by 13 July 2027. Offers to students still in school are conditional, and you submit your final Leaving Cert certificate after accepting.
Deadline for Irish/EU applicants: Joint application on Studyinfo: 7 January 2027 (8:00) to 21 January 2027 (15:00 Finnish time), 30 places. International UAS Exam: 23 March 2027 at 12:00 Finnish time. SAT scores are due by 29 March 2027 (code 7787). Results are out by 31 May 2027 at the latest, and you must accept your place by 13 July 2027 (15:00). There is also a rolling admission round from 27 August to 10 December 2026 (10 places), but it is open only to applicants who already hold their final school certificate..

Costs

  • No tuition fee for EU/EEA citizens. KAMK charges tuition (10,000 euro a year for bachelor’s degrees) only to non-EU/EEA students. The Finnish application fee (100 euro) also applies only to applicants from outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland. If you use the SAT route, you pay the College Board’s own test fee.
Your Leaving Cert grades are not used to rank you. Your place depends on the International UAS Exam on 23 March 2027 or on your SAT scores. Rolling admission in autumn 2026 is only open if you already have your final Leaving Cert certificate, for example if you are taking a gap year.
