About the course

A full-time, campus-based business degree of 210 ECTS covering marketing, sales, management and finance. It includes about 20 weeks of work placement and a bachelor’s thesis.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • Finland accepts a completed Leaving Certificate that gives entry to higher education in Ireland. No Finnish body sets minimum Leaving Cert grades, subjects or Higher/Ordinary levels, and CAO points are not converted. Confirm with Turku AMK admissions.
  • Leaving Cert holders at Finnish universities of applied sciences are usually ranked by the online International UAS Exam (23 March 2027 in the joint application) or a programme’s own entrance test, not by school grades. Turku AMK’s selection method for this programme was not confirmed, so check the programme page.
  • English: universities of applied sciences accept EU schooling taught and assessed entirely in English only if the language appears on your documents. Get a school letter confirming this, because the Leaving Cert does not state it. Gaelscoil students should expect to need IELTS or TOEFL.

Costs

  • No tuition for EU/EEA citizens. Non-EU/EEA citizens pay 12,000 euro a year. Irish students still pay their own living costs in Finland.
Your Leaving Cert points are not used to rank you: you will almost certainly need to sit an entrance test. Check that the final-certificate deadline suits Leaving Cert results timing.
