About the course

A practical, career-focused degree in chemistry and chemical engineering with lab work and projects, taught in English at Building Nexus on the TU/e campus in Eindhoven. Students with a pre-university level diploma may be able to finish in 3.5 years.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • The institution assesses the Irish Leaving Certificate individually and does not publish a fixed Irish requirement. Contact admissions to confirm.
  • No specific subject requirement is published on the programme page. As a chemistry-based course, Maths and Chemistry (ideally Higher Level) are strongly advisable; this is advice, not a published rule. Contact technology-study@fontys.nl about your situation.
  • A minimum level of English may be required; confirm with Fontys whether the Leaving Certificate is accepted as proof.
