About the course

A multidisciplinary social sciences bachelor at the Le Havre campus, where all classes are taught in English, with a regional focus on Asia.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • Sciences Po publishes no specific Leaving Certificate grade or subject rule. The Leaving Cert is a valid EU school-leaving qualification in France and each programme selects on its own terms, so confirm with Sciences Po admissions what it needs from Irish applicants.
  • Apply through the international procedure (for students with a foreign school diploma only) with an online application; English level is assessed at interview.
  • English at C1 level is required and French is not required at Le Havre. No proof of English is needed when you apply (you may attach a test result if you wish), and no exemption for native speakers is stated.

How to apply

  1. Check eligibilityThe international procedure is for students holding only a foreign school diploma such as the Leaving Cert; students taking the French bac use Parcoursup.
  2. Apply onlineSubmit your application on the Sciences Po admissions website. The 2026 window ran 30 Oct 2025 to 10 Mar 2026; expect similar dates for 2027.
  3. InterviewShortlisted applicants are interviewed and their English is assessed against the C1 level.
  4. Fees and enrolmentOnce admitted, declare household income so Sciences Po can set your fee (EUR 0 to EUR 12,363 in 2026/27).
Deadline for Irish/EU applicants: For September 2026 entry the international procedure (foreign school diplomas only) opened on 30 Oct 2025 and closed on 10 Mar 2026 at 11:59pm Paris time. Expect a similar October to March window for 2027 entry and check the new dates when they are published. Language level is assessed at interview..
