About the course

A 3-year (180 ECTS) fast-track version of International Business for students with a pre-university level diploma, leading to a Bachelor of Business Administration. It is practical and career-focused, and the second year includes a semester at a partner university abroad and an international placement.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • The institution assesses the Irish Leaving Certificate individually and does not publish a fixed Irish requirement. Contact admissions to confirm.
  • This track needs a diploma at the level of Dutch VWO (pre-university), such as the IB Diploma, a higher bar than the 4-year track. Hanze does not say whether the Leaving Certificate meets this, so ask admissions before choosing this track.
  • English: Hanze exempts applicants with a diploma from Ireland from an English test; otherwise IELTS 6.0 overall with no subscore below 5.5 (or equivalent, no older than two years).
