About the course

A four-year, English-taught degree combining music with sound technology, with graduation profiles in music recording, studio production or sound reinforcement. It is hands-on, with real recording and live sound projects and an internship.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • The institution assesses the Irish Leaving Certificate individually and does not publish a fixed Irish requirement. Contact admissions to confirm.
  • No Leaving Cert maths grade is published, but you must pass the conservatoire’s own online maths test (up to 90 minutes; an example test is provided). You must also play an instrument.
  • Pre-selection also includes an online music theory test, an unedited video of you playing 3 pieces in different styles and tempos (max 15 minutes) and a Europass CV, then a 15-minute online motivation interview.
