About the course

A management degree taught in English (210 ECTS). It combines strategic management, digital marketing and entrepreneurship, with courses in e-commerce, customer relationship management and business strategy. You do two internships and a final thesis on a real business problem. Double-degree options include BI Norwegian Business School and KEDGE Business School. Third-year students take a study trip to Web Summit in Portugal.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • ISM lists the Irish Leaving Certificate as an accepted qualification. Students finishing school that year can apply with a provisional certificate. ISM does not publish minimum Leaving Cert grades (such as H5 or O6 thresholds), so ask ISM admissions how your results will be scored.
  • Maths: ISM asks bachelor applicants for a state maths exam result, or its own ISM maths test if you have not taken one. Leaving Cert Maths is a state exam, but ask ISM to confirm it meets the requirement. All applicants also do a motivational interview. The online test is used to decide scholarships.
  • English: minimum scores are ISM English test 55, IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 60, Cambridge 169 (B2), PTE Academic 52 or Duolingo 115. The admissions committee can exempt applicants whose earlier education was taught entirely in English. Ask ISM whether your Irish schooling qualifies you for this.

How to apply

  1. Apply onlineApply on apply.ism.lt and pay the EUR 100 application fee. In the 2026 cycle the early round closed on 30 April and the main visa-free round closed on 24 July.
  2. Upload documentsUpload your Leaving Cert (a provisional certificate if you are sitting the exams that year), your passport or ID, and proof of English, or ask for an exemption or book the ISM English test.
  3. Interview and testsDo the motivational interview. Sit the ISM maths test if ISM asks you to, and the online test if you want to be considered for a scholarship.
  4. Sign contract and payIf you get an offer, sign the study contract by the deadline (31 July in the 2026 main round) and make the advance payment. The first EUR 500 of it cannot be refunded.
Deadline for Irish/EU applicants: 2026 cycle: early admission from 1 November to 30 April 2026 (contract by 20 May). Main admission for visa-free countries from 1 May to 24 July 2026 (contract by 31 July). Additional admission from 22 July to 14 August 2026 (contract by 18 August). As an EU citizen, an Irish applicant should fall under the visa-free rounds, but ISM does not say this directly. 2027 dates are not yet published. Expect a similar pattern and check the ISM admission page..

Costs

  • ISM’s programme page gives a standard fee of EUR 3,570 per semester (EUR 7,140 per year). The page does not say which academic year this covers. ISM runs a scholarship competition worth up to 50% of the fee (EUR 3,570 a year at 50%). There is an application fee of EUR 100. To accept a place you pay in advance: EUR 500 in the early round, or one semester’s fee in the main round. The first EUR 500 is a study place reservation fee that cannot be refunded if you cancel. Confirm the 2027/28 amounts on ism.lt before applying.
ISM is a private university, so EU students pay tuition fees (EUR 7,140 a year at the standard rate). Scholarships cover up to 50%. To accept a place you pay in advance, and the first EUR 500 of that cannot be refunded.
