About the course

A 210 ECTS management degree taught in English, covering areas such as crisis management, business analytics, e-business, business ethics and social responsibility, entrepreneurship, strategic management, leadership and innovation strategies. It ends with a final thesis. Graduates are prepared for roles such as personnel, finance, production or marketing manager.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • Klaipeda University publishes no Ireland-specific Leaving Certificate rule. Its general requirement is a senior high school diploma with a good average grade (minimum CGPA above 60%). Only final certificates are accepted, not provisional ones. Documents need an Apostille, although the university’s course pages say this does not apply to documents issued in the EU, which would cover an Irish Leaving Cert. Contact admissions to confirm how your Higher and Ordinary Level grades will be converted.
  • No entrance test. You add a motivation letter to your application. The academic evaluation commission reviews it and holds an online interview, run by a Studies Office staff member or a university representative.
  • English: level B2 is required. Accepted proof is IELTS above 5.5, TOEFL above 75, Duolingo above 110 or PTE above 59. Native English speakers are exempt, but Irish applicants should confirm this with admissions. The university does not say whether Leaving Cert English counts.

How to apply

Costs

The portal also shows a non-refundable one-time application fee of €180 and does not list a lower rate for EU applicants. The university issues the letter of acceptance once the tuition fee is paid.
Klaipeda accepts only final school certificates, and its autumn deadline (1 June) is before Leaving Cert results come out. This programme also has a February start, with applications due by 1 November, which may suit Irish students better.
