About the course

A four-year English-taught business degree (240 ECTS) at LCC International University, a small private international university in Klaipeda, Lithuania.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • LCC does not publish specific rules for the Irish Leaving Certificate. Foreign school-leaving qualifications have to go through LCC’s qualification recognition process, and LCC offers conditional acceptance to strong applicants. Ask LCC admissions how your Leaving Cert Higher and Ordinary Level grades will be assessed.
  • Selection is based on your high school grades from the last 3 years (40%), an English proficiency score (30%) and an interview (30%).
  • English: the usual minimums include IELTS Academic 6.0, TOEFL ITP 500 or PTE Academic 53 (or equivalent). Citizens of Ireland, the UK, the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand are exempt from the English test.

How to apply

  1. Check the 2027 detailsBefore applying, confirm the tuition fee for Irish citizens and the autumn 2027 deadlines with LCC.
  2. Register onlineCreate an application account at admissions.lcc.lt.
  3. Upload documentsUpload your passport and your secondary-school results so far. As an Irish citizen you should not need an English test certificate.
  4. Interview and final resultsAttend the admissions interview. Once your Leaving Cert results are issued in August, send them to LCC and complete the qualification recognition step.
Deadline for Irish/EU applicants: LCC has not yet published dates for September 2027 entry. For the 2026 cycle, LCC’s admissions page listed these dates for autumn (late August) entry: early deadline 15 February 2026, general deadline 15 March 2026, and 15 June 2026 for applicants from visa-free Schengen countries. Some LCC programme pages show 15 April as the general deadline, so the dates do not all match. Expect similar dates for 2027, but confirm them and check which deadline applies to Irish (EU) citizens with LCC admissions..

Costs

  • Tuition fee for 2027 not confirmed. LCC is a private university and charges tuition, so do not treat this course as tuition-free. LCC’s 2025-2026 undergraduate catalogue lists tuition of 68.83 EUR per ECTS credit (4,129.80 EUR for a full-time year of 60 credits), but it also says LCC uses a two-tier fee structure based on the student’s country of citizenship and does not say which tier applies to Ireland. Ask LCC which fee applies to Irish citizens for 2027-2028, and ask about any application fee.
LCC is a private university in Klaipeda, so tuition fees apply. You apply to LCC directly, not through Lithuania’s national LAMA BPO system for state-funded places.
