Entry requirements for Irish students

  • VILNIUS TECH accepts the Leaving Certificate. A provisional certificate is accepted only if you are finishing school that year. You need at least 60% of the maximum result in mathematics, in physics or another science or social science subject, and in English. The university does not say how Higher and Ordinary Level grades convert, so check with admissions. You also need to apply within three years of finishing secondary school.
  • The university’s application procedure asks direct applicants to record an interview through the application system within 5 days. Your entrance score is calculated from maths, physics or another science, and English. Confirm the list of documents for this programme on the portal.
  • English: the university accepts IELTS Academic 5.5, TOEFL iBT 70, B2 First 160, C1 Advanced grade C, PTE Academic 48 or Duolingo 95. Native English speakers and students whose previous education was entirely in English are exempt, which should cover most Irish applicants. Confirm with admissions.
