About the course

A 3.5-year (7-semester, 210 ECTS) business management degree taught in English. It combines logistics, transport management, business and economics. Subjects include transport policy, transport infrastructure, logistics fundamentals, freight and passenger transport technologies, and strategic decisions in transport and logistics, with a focus on green logistics. It includes an internship and ends with a final project, leading to a Bachelor of Business Management. A double-degree option with Windesheim University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands) is mentioned.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • VILNIUS TECH’s country-specific requirements for Ireland ask for the Leaving Certificate, and provisional certificates are accepted for current Leaving Cert students. The general minimum is 60% of the maximum possible result in maths, in physics or another science or social science subject, and in English, and these grades are used to calculate an entrance score. The university does not say how it converts Irish grades (60% is the bottom of the H4/O4 band), so confirm with admissions which levels and grades they accept.
  • Documents: school results, at least 2 references, a motivation letter, a CV, a passport copy and a passport photo. After you apply, you record an interview through the application system and must finish it within 5 days. No entrance exam is listed.
  • English: accepted proof includes IELTS Academic 5.5, B2 First (160), TOEFL iBT 70, Duolingo 95 and others. Applicants who completed their previous studies fully in English do not need a test. Irish students should qualify for this, but ask admissions to confirm before relying on it.

The programme page also says state funding is available for EU citizens. A state-funded place is tuition-free, but these places are competitive and allocated through LAMA BPO.
