Entry requirements for Irish students

  • VILNIUS TECH accepts the Irish Leaving Certificate, and current students can apply with a provisional certificate. For Ireland, it asks for at least 60% of the maximum possible result in maths, in physics or another science or social science subject, and in English. No H/O grade conversion is published, so confirm with admissions. State-funded places through LAMA BPO need SKVC recognition first.
  • Maths and a science subject are required at 60% or more. VILNIUS TECH also asks international applicants to do a recorded interview. The programme page may list extra documents such as a motivation letter and references, so check it.
  • English: VILNIUS TECH accepts IELTS Academic 5.5 (no section below 5.5), TOEFL iBT 70, B2 First 160, PTE 48 or Duolingo 95, among others. Applicants whose previous studies were entirely in English are exempt, but it is not stated whether Irish schooling counts, so confirm with admissions.
