About the course

A four-year (8-semester) mathematics degree aimed at technology applications. The degree includes an internship and ends with a final project defence.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • VILNIUS TECH accepts the Leaving Certificate. Provisional certificates are accepted only for current graduates. You need at least 60% of the maximum possible result in maths, in physics or another science or social science subject, and in English. The university does not publish a Leaving Cert grade conversion, so confirm with admissions.
  • The application needs a motivation letter, at least 2 references, a CV, a passport copy and a photo. The university’s application procedure also includes a recorded interview in the application system, which you must complete within 5 days.
  • English proof: IELTS Academic 5.5 (no section below 5.5), B2 First 160, TOEFL iBT 70 or Duolingo 95, among other tests. You are exempt if your previous studies were taught entirely in English. Ask admissions whether your Irish school qualifies.

How to apply

  1. Check requirementsConfirm the Leaving Cert subject and percentage rules, the English requirement and your EU fee with VILNIUS TECH admissions.
  2. Apply onlineApply on apply.vilniustech.lt once applications open on 2 November. Upload your documents and pay the 100 euro application fee.
  3. Complete the interviewComplete the recorded interview in the application system within 5 days.
  4. Accept and pay, or go state-fundedAfter conditional acceptance, send your final Leaving Cert results and pay the first instalment and the 200 euro registration fee. For a state-funded place, apply separately through SKVC recognition and LAMA BPO.
Deadline for Irish/EU applicants: The 2027 closing date is not published. The application portal says applications for admission open on 2 November, and studies start on 1 September. State-funded places run through LAMA BPO, with the main round usually in June to July. You need SKVC recognition of the Leaving Cert first..

Costs

  • The official fees page lists 4,201 euro a year for EU citizens on Engineering/IT/Technologies bachelor programmes in 2026/27, and 4,950 euro for non-EU students. The programme page shows 4,950 euro as the non-EU fee and says state funding is available for EU citizens. The fees page does not name this programme in a category, so confirm that the 4,201 euro rate applies. All applicants pay a 100 euro non-refundable application fee, and a 200 euro registration fee is paid with the first tuition fee.
Fee-paying EU students most likely pay 4,201 euro a year (2026/27), but confirm this rate for the programme. Tuition-free state-funded places go through the separate, competitive LAMA BPO system.
