About the course

A 3.5-year business degree taught in English at VU Business School, with an emphasis on entrepreneurship and sustainable business. It holds international ACBSP accreditation.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • Vilnius University accepts the Leaving Certificate. For a Leaving Cert awarded from 2017 onwards, you need passes in at least six subjects: two at H5 or higher and the rest at O6/H7 or higher. Current Leaving Cert students can apply before their final results are issued.
  • Programme-specific: you need an overall grade average of at least 70%, and your motivation is assessed through recorded video answers or a video interview. Ask VU admissions how Leaving Cert grades are converted to a percentage.
  • English: B2 level (for example IELTS Academic 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 81). VU says applicants whose first language is English are exempt from the test. Confirm with admissions what evidence it accepts.

How to apply

  1. Check eligibilityMake sure your expected Leaving Cert results meet VU’s six-subject rule and the 70% average. Ask admissions how Leaving Cert grades are converted.
  2. Apply on apply.vu.ltWhen the 2027 round opens, create an account, choose up to three programmes and pay the EUR 100 application fee. Upload your documents and your English evidence or exemption.
  3. Complete the video assessmentRecord the video motivation answers or interview. Submit everything before the EU/EFTA deadline, which was 1 July for 2026; confirm the 2027 date.
  4. Upload final resultsUpload your final Leaving Cert results by 20 August 2027, then accept your offer and pay the first year’s tuition by VU’s deadline. Classes begin in September.
Deadline for Irish/EU applicants: You apply on apply.vu.lt. For the 2026 intake the EU/EFTA deadline was 1 July (1 May for non-EU applicants). The 2027 dates have not been published yet. Current school-leavers can apply before their final results are issued. VU requires final documents by 20 August. The academic year starts in September..

Costs

  • EUR 3,950 a year for EU/EFTA citizens on a self-funded (non-state-funded) place, according to VU’s programme page for the 2026/27 intake. The non-EU rate is EUR 4,350. The 2027/28 fee has not been published yet, so confirm it with VU. There is also a non-refundable EUR 100 application fee, which covers up to three programme choices in one application.
This is a fee-paying place (EUR 3,950 a year for EU students in 2026/27), not free tuition. It lasts 3.5 years rather than three or four.
