About the course

An interdisciplinary degree on how the human brain works and how to build computer systems that carry out tasks on their own. It covers mathematics, computing science, psychology, neuroscience, logic and linguistics.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • Radboud accepts the Leaving Certificate (Established) with at least 6 subjects: at least H5 in 2 Higher Level subjects and at least O6 or H7 in the other 4, plus at least 350 CAO points. Meeting this does not guarantee admission; Radboud also looks at your grades, subjects and levels. This rule was published for 2026-27 entry.
  • Maths is required. Radboud does not publish a Leaving Cert maths grade and checks your level against its own grade requirements. If your maths falls short, you can make it up with the OMPT (OMPT-E or OMPT-D, at least 55%), SAT maths (at least 600), a CCVX VWO Maths A or B exam (at least 6/10) or a Boswell-Bèta VWO Maths A or B exam (at least 5.5/10), completed by 31 August.
