About the course

A three-year Bachelor of Science (180 EC) covering the main areas of psychology, with training in research methods and statistics; from the second year you choose courses to suit your interests. You can take the programme fully in English, and Radboud also offers a bilingual Dutch-English option.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • Leaving Certificate (Established) with at least 6 subjects: at least H5 in 2 Higher Level subjects and at least O6 or H7 in the other 4, plus a minimum of 350 CAO points. This rule is published for 2026-27 applications; the 2027-28 version has not been published yet, so confirm with Radboud.
  • Maths: Radboud publishes no Irish-specific maths grade for Psychology. Your level is assessed individually, and if the Admissions Board decides it is not sufficient, you must show it through a maths test (OMPT at least 55%, CCVX VWO Mathematics at least 6/10, or Boswell-Bèta at least 5.5/10).
  • English: a diploma from an English-language school in Ireland counts as proof of English, so no separate English test should be needed.
