Entry requirements for Irish students

  • University Admissions in Sweden accepts the Leaving Certificate for general entry if you took at least six subjects, with at least two at Higher Level. International applicants are ranked on final grades; predicted grades are not accepted.
  • Specific requirement: intermediate mathematics equivalent to Swedish Mathematics 2a, 2b or 2c. University Admissions decides whether your Leaving Cert Maths meets this, so confirm with them.
  • English: equivalent to Swedish English 6. A Leaving Cert English result of Ordinary Level grade 6 (O6) or better meets this.
