Costs

  • Tio is a private institution, so the statutory Dutch fee does not apply. Tuition is €24,950 a year for 2027/28, plus a one-off €250 enrolment/application fee (€25,200 in year one). Tio says the fee includes study materials, the third-year study trip, projects and exam fees. EU/EEA students pay a €5,000 tuition deposit after admission, which is deducted from the tuition invoice. Paying in one go before 1 August gives a €350 discount; otherwise 12 monthly instalments. Optional extras: introduction days €350, wine course €650. Fees may be indexed annually for inflation.
  • EU students may be eligible for a Dutch tuition-fee loan (DUO).
Open-entry course: if you meet the requirements, you get a place. Places are limited and assigned in order of registration, and Tio is a private institution with a much higher fee than public Dutch universities.
