  • No programme-specific subject requirements are published (no maths or science subject needed).

Costs

  • Tio is a private institution, so the statutory Dutch fee does not apply. Tuition is €24,950 a year for 2027/28, plus a one-off €250 enrolment/application fee (€25,200 in year one). Tio says the fee includes study materials, the third-year study trip, projects and exam fees. EU/EEA students pay a €5,000 tuition deposit after admission, which is deducted from the tuition invoice. Paying in one go before 1 August gives a €350 discount; otherwise 12 monthly instalments by direct debit. Optional extras: introduction days €350. Fees may be indexed annually for inflation.
  • EU students may be eligible for a Dutch tuition-fee loan (DUO).
Open-entry course: if you meet the requirements, you get a place. Places are limited and assigned in order of registration, and Tio is a private institution with a much higher fee than public Dutch universities.

Checked against the official Tio website: September 2026 (2027 entry). The fee is the published 2027/28 fee; the admission requirements page still refers to 2026 intakes and some payment details (instalments, deposit) are from the 2026/27 cycle, so confirm with Tio. Always confirm details with the university before applying.
