About the course

An English-taught degree on European politics, policy, communication and international business, with study of an additional language (French, German or Spanish). It is a practical, career-focused degree at a university of applied sciences.

Entry requirements for Irish students

  • The institution assesses the Irish Leaving Certificate individually and does not publish a fixed Irish requirement. Contact admissions to confirm.
  • No specific school subjects are required (all Dutch HAVO/VWO profiles are accepted). You choose French, German or Spanish as part of the course; no entry level in that language is stated on the programme page.
  • EU students need English at school-leaving level. Zuyd’s general rule is that EU students who passed English as an exam subject do not need an extra English test.

Checked against the official Zuyd website: September 2026 (2027 entry). The deadline is shown on the programme page without a year, and the fee amount is the Dutch statutory fee for 2026-27, so confirm both before applying. Always confirm details with the university before applying.
